The paper production plant Uzerche was created 1893 , on the site of an old mill along the Vézère. After several takeovers, it happens in the lap of the Smurfit group in the early 90s
it becomes part of a large international group to produce corrugated cardboard.

in 2006, the giant cardboard decided to close its plant. to justify its decision, the paper talks about overproduction. A Uzerche, 45 jobs are directly threatened . The site finally closed in May and is transformed into industrial wasteland.

Meanwhile, Sophie Dessus fights to protect employees.

And, perhaps to rename the site .. .
